I bring to your attention an important survey re Biodiversity Conservation.

Please take the time to fill it out this weekend – it doesn’t take long and it will be vital input into the MPSC Biodiversity Conservation Plan..

Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking your views on biodiversity conservation on the Mornington Peninsula via an online survey.

The Shire is developing a Biodiversity Conservation Plan to guide the protection and management of biodiversity on the Mornington Peninsula. This plan will assist the Shire in achieving best-practice management and allocating of resources over the next five years; a time in which there will be increasing environmental challenges. This survey is your opportunity to provide input into the Biodiversity Conservation Plan. The results of this survey will be used to develop a shared vision for biodiversity conservation on the Peninsula and to help set the Shire’s priorities for management.

The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete, and will remain open until 5pm on Monday 14th Dec 2015. No identifying information will be collected or attached to the survey. It’s open to the public, so please feel free to forward this email to interested people. The survey is also accessible through the Shire’s website.
